Headlight assembly sourcing for vehicle lamp RFQs

Beambridge Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner. We help importers, wholesalers and fleet buyers collect factory quotes for vehicle headlight assemblies plus matching housings, brackets and wiring harnesses. Share vehicle year and side, connector scope, optics designation, quantity and destination; we do not manufacture lamps or claim authorization.

Fitment information to supply

A catalog title does not prove interchange. Record the open checks below so supplier replies can be compared on the same vehicle application, connector scope and packing unit.

Vehicle and engine

Record model year, make, model and chassis or engine code; identify left or right lamp position. Mark unresolved vehicle fitment as open instead of assuming a similar lens shape is enough.

Position and interface

Confirm mounting tabs, adjuster interfaces, connector family and whether the offer includes bulb, ballast, LED driver or only the empty housing. Separate front headlight assemblies from fog lamps and standalone bulbs.

Quantity and packing

State pieces with vehicle-position quantities declared. List included hardware, bezels, brackets or harness branches so a kit price is not compared with a bare housing.

Destination and timing

Provide destination ZIP code and the requested delivery window. Ask which Incoterms, freight, taxes and service costs sit inside the quote before timing claims are treated as firm.

Before committing to an order

Can a matching name prove fitment?
No. Ask for the vehicle application, OE reference used only for identification, left/right designation and connector confirmation. Optics paperwork for a different market designation does not transfer automatically.
Is a quote required to inquire?
No. A target budget in USD per piece or total order is optional. Quantity, side count and application still help define the request without forcing a price first.
Can lead time be assumed?
No. Confirm sample, production and transport timing in the supplier response. Adaptive modules or coding support can change both cost and calendar independently of the basic housing.
Does a supplier document certify our service?
No. Beam or compliance documents apply only to the stated supplier, product and application. Beambridge Sourcing coordinates questions; it does not convert those files into a house certificate.

How a sourcing request moves forward

  1. Clarify

Resolve part reference, vehicle year and side, connector modules, optics designation and order unit. Unknowns stay listed instead of being filled with marketing defaults.

  2. Request

Ask suppliers for comparable quote scope covering halogen, xenon, LED or adaptive configurations, included drivers or harnesses, sample terms and documents tied to the same application.

  3. Review

Compare sample approval conditions, beam documentation scope, Incoterms and total cost. Keep empty-housing lines off a complete-assembly comparison sheet.

  4. Confirm

Record the accepted specification, remaining open checks and each party’s delivery responsibility before any purchase instruction is issued.

Read the headlight housing RFQ checklist when empty housings and complete lamps are mixed, then send the open list through the procurement form.
